in Wales !!! Since 2010 Plas Curig has become a family run business and has been completely and tastefully refurbished to provide unique luxury hostel accommodation to a 5 star standard - accommodation options include dormitory, twin, double and family rooms with communal lounge, catering and dining facilities. It now provides homely, comfortable and most importantly affordable 5 star accommodation from which to experience the beauty of Snowdonia This 5 star luxury hostel offers the best of both worlds to its guests – modern amenities with relaxed comfort. Everybody is welcome and we offer dog-friendly accommodation. Explore a timeless landscape overflowing with craggy mountains, wild moors, ancient forests, thunderous waterfalls and vast sweeping beaches. Nestled underneath Moel Siabod, the little ‘Matterhorn’ of Snowdonia and peeking over the River Llugwy, Plas Curig is quietly tucked away in the ancient mountain village of Capel Curig. Only a short walk away are a selection of pubs, a village store, café and outdoor shops selling all the necessities you need. Just around the corner from our Snowdonia hostel is Plas-Y-Brenin the leading National Mountain Centre for outdoor activities. There you can learn to climb, canoe, kayak, ski... the list goes on. | Accommodation Plas Curig is proud to offer a unique type of Snowdonia hostel - clean, comfortable, and most importantly affordable accommodation offering a luxury hostel experience within the Snowdonia National Park. We have an array of Bunk Rooms for individual travellers, couples, groups of friends and school groups, ranging from rooms sleeping 4 to rooms sleeping 10 people - with a total capacity for 54 guests - details of the rooms as follows : - 1 x 8 bed dorm - 2 x 6 bed dorms - 4 x 4 bed dorms - 3 rooms with double bed and twin bunks - 2 x twin bedded rooms - 1 x double bedded room
None of our rooms are en-suite but there are 7 brand new private shower rooms with a shower, toilet and basin for you to use. Towels are charged at £1.50 for your stay but why not bring your own and help us become more environmentally friendly.
We are happy to be one of the few Snowdonia hostels that provide dog friendly accommodation. Dogs are welcome in all private rooms. Also our Bunk Rooms are dog friendly if you are booking out the whole room.
Tariff Prices are per person per night - children under 12 years have a £4 discount off adult price
Cancellation policy Bookings of 4 people or less Cancellation within 7 days of the arrival date will result in 50% of the complete booking price being charged. Cancellation within 3 days of the arrival date will result in 100% of the complete booking price being charged. Bookings of 5 people or more Cancellation within 2 weeks of the arrival date will result in 50% of the complete booking price being charged Cancellation within 1 week of the arrival date will result in 100% of the complete booking price being charged. |
