Ross Ashe-Cregan is A C
Adventures. As a longstanding Fellow of the Royal Geographical
Society he has many years of expedition experience. He is based in
Tywyn on the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park.
AC Adventures holds a
license from the AALA and is thereby qualified to provide adventures
for young people (under 18).
A.C.Adventures offers a
range of courses any of which can be tailored to your needs - from
single fun days, short breaks/weekends to overseas expeditions - in
summer and winter we have something to suit everyone
Accommodation can be
provided either in Ross's own home for small groups or in friendly
establishments locally for larger groups. Other accommodation can be
made available to suit YOUR requirements.

Fun
Day
Centered around an old
disused slate quarry known locally as 'The Blue Lake'
Friog - Fun Day will give you the chance
to experience a number of thrilling activities all on one site
and in one day.
Gorge Crossing - but there's no
bridge....work as a team to solve the problem of crossing a
forty foot chasm.
Abseiling - you've seen it so many times
in the movies, now try it for yourself...80 feet down a steeply
inclining quarry wall
Slate Mine Exploration - work your way
through centuries of historic mine workings...Step back in time
and enjoy a trip underground.
Raft Building / Canoeing - based at the
extremely safe environment of Blue Lake.
Buttress Traverse - combine rock
climbing with a 150 foot abseil.
Orienteering - a map a ruler and a
compass...and a vast area to explore. |

Weekend
Break
Several activities groupe together over a weekend or a number
of days - activities can include :

scrambling
sea level traversing
mountain biking
rock climbing
hill walking
navigation

A.C. Adventures also offers
Winter Skills courses - greatly enhance the
walkers enjoyment, and by learning under
Fully Qualified Instructors, will give you the confidence to
venture into the hills during the Winter months.
